Actress and Model

An actress and a model, Oma was born in Lagos to an architect named Victor and a gorgeous photographer named Norris, the third of five amazing children.

As a child, she attended Grange, a predominantly white British primary school where she learned that we are all “the same” none better than the other. Her primary education shaped her interest in numerous after- school activities such as ballet, gymnastics, swimming, sewing, drama, piano lessons and continues to define her passion and the direction for her life.

After Grange, she attended and graduated high school from Queens College Lagos. Oma describes her high school years as, ”a mixed bag, filled with all the typical emotions, need I say more.” After high school, Oma moved to the US and attended the University of Maryland, earning a degree in Business with a minor in Finance. Attending college was a huge priority for Oma, although she often questioned her desire and passion for her chosen major.

After graduation, Oma evaluated a number of career paths – before eventually choosing acting, modeling and philanthropy because she felt that in these areas she had the ability to hone her craft and more importantly, she greatly enjoyed each one.

The beginning of Oma’s acting career is the pivotal point in her life. From the Studio Theatre in Washington DC, to New York School of Film and Television, Oma has spent the past 4 years training with some great teachers in the area of theatre and film acting.

Acting is, and will always be a very competitive industry. An actor spends years gaining great skills, training, auditioning from coast to coast and waiting for “just” that opportunity. Acting is a craft for the brave.

Oma says she loves her career and feels truly blessed to have the love and support of her family and friends as she continues to grow and work as an actor.

Even while pursuing her acting career, Oma continues to grow in other areas of her life and as a person. She continues to develop her lifelong love of fashion, reading about it and applying it in her daily life. Oma is often found poring over editions of Architectural Digest as if she were studying for a final exam, although she describes it as a labor of love. She also continues studying French and has actually dreamt in French.

Oma says, “All of my experiences make me happy, knowing that I’m doing what I love, but at the same time, not forgetting who I am. I hope you all enjoy my site, and I look forward to having great updates on my career.”
